Tarsus - Largest event sees 20% growth

An upbeat trading statement helped shares in business exhibitions organiser Tarsus smash through the £2 mark for the first time in nearly five years. They have now gained 52p since we made them a front-page recommendation last October. Trading was generally good throughout Tarsus’ portfolio and was led by its largest event, the biennial LabelExpo Europe, which promotes self-adhesive labelling for a variety of consumer goods and achieved revenues over 20% greater than the equivalent show in 2003. Strong revenue increases were also seen at Tarsus’ two largest shows in France, while the major shows in the US performed well and have high rebooking levels.
