Self-storage firm Big Yellow announced interims showing that growthhas continued in spite of the slowing housing market. For the sixmonths to 30 September revenue increased 17% to £28.6m while adjustedpretax profit before revaluation surpluses rose 3% to £7.2m. Includingthose re-valuations overall profit was £46.3m. Big Yellow’s propertyportfolio increased in value to £788m, driving a 36% rise in net assetvalue from 347p to 472p. Although Big Yellow has acknowledged that trading conditions aremore testing, the key metrics still show progress.
