Just two months after we recommended book-makers William Hill at 162p, the shares have soared a pleasing 77p with the catalyst being a very strong trading update, which resulted in brokers upgrading their forecasts.For the last 11 weeks of 2008 the firm reported that gross win increased by 8%, while for 2008 as a whole gross win is ahead 6%. Meanwhile, full year earnings before interest, tax and exceptional items will now be around £275m, which is ahead of consensus forecasts of £264m. In response broker, DKW has upgraded its 2008 eps forecast to 42.6p, while for this year it expects 42.7p.
