Paypoint, which operates a payment collection network to help consumers pay their household bills in cash at their local store, has issued results in line with expectations. Net revenue increased 7% to £104.3m while pretax profit and eps increased 6% and 8% respectively to £22.5m and 26p.Bill and general (prepaid energy, bills and cash out services) increased revenue 6% to £25.9m through a rise in transaction values while Top-ups (mobile, e-money vouchers, prepaid debit cards and lottery) grew revenue almost 4% to £11.7m largely thanks to an increase in Romanian top-ups.Retail services (ATM, money transfer, SIMs, broadband) grew revenues 17% to almost £13m while Collect+, which provides a parcel ...
