Supergroup, a New Year NAP for 2017, has quickly gained 150p after superlative half year results showed group revenue up 31% to £334m. This included retail revenues which rose 25% to £215m (including retail like-for-like: 12.8% against strong comparative of +17.2% in H1 ‘16) and driven by increased online contribution from 19.2% to 21.6%. Meanwhile, wholesale revenue increased 44% to £118.8m (H1 ’16: £82.6m). Underlying profit before tax was up 17.6% to £22.7m before one-off costs of dual running two distribution centres.
