A few years back we successfully recommended Sports Direct when it had just acquired the best sites from the carcass of its old rival, JJB, while most recently, low-cost airlines Easyjet, 1530p and Wizz Air, 3554p have both benefited from the demise of Air Berlin and Monarch.In the same vein we believe B&M European Retail, a leading provider of discounted general merchandise and food products, will benefit from the struggles of its rival, Poundland, which trades from almost 900 UK stores.
