The shares hit an intra-day high of 117p after Gocompare announced it is acquiring The Global Voucher Group, which trades as MyVoucherCodes, from Monetise for £36.5m on a cash-free debt-free basis, to be financed through existing debt facilities.MyVoucher Codes is one of the UK’s largest online voucher code sites with eight million e-mail subscribers and a website that receives 45m annual visits. As such it works with over 3,000 retail brands and generated £350m retailer revenue in 2017.MyVoucherCodes is forecast to generate sales of £11.8m, EBITDA of £4.1m and pretax profit of £4m in the 12 months to December 2017.
