We highlighted Segro, a commercial property REIT focusing on the development and letting of urban warehousing on behalf of logistics and e-commerce customers such as DHL and Amazon, in May ’18 at 616p and again last September at 768p, and the shares have subsequently stormed to £9. It’s a great business because demand is strong thanks to growth in e-commerce while supply in its core London market is tight.As part of a portfolio tidying up exercise, Segro has announced the disposal of seven stand-alone Big Box warehouses with a total floor space of 203,400 sq. metres in the West Midlands including in Daventry, Leicester and Burton-on-Trent.
