After banging the drum (2023 and ’24 NAPs at 119p and 153p; March ’23 front-page at 175p) shares in On The Beach went into orbit, peaking at 253p after record finals. Even after £3m costs to integrate its systems into Ryanair’s (following their flight distribution agreement which underpins 30-40% of its seat supply), pretax profit rose 25% to £31m on sales up 14% to £128m. TTV rose 15% to £1.2bn, with five star hotels now 34% of the total. As it scaled, EBITDA margins rose 3.6% to 33.6%, with marketing spend reducing 1% to 37.1% as its brand recognition attracted even more “free” direct traffic.
