We followed our short feature on Business Post last month with a meeting with chief executive, Paul Carvell and came away with the firm belief that this group could be one of the top performers in 2004.   After a difficult few years the group's core business parcel delivery division is enjoying a new lease of life, but what is exciting analysts is the huge new opportunity brought about by the Government's decision to deregulate the UK's postal system, currently dominated by the moribund monopoly, Royal Mail.  Business Post's subsidiary, UK Mail,  has already been granted a long-term license to enter this market, which when fully opened up in 2007, willbe worth a whopping £5.5bn a year.
