Demand for shares in new AIM issue, Goals Soccer Centres, was so great that the float price has had to be raised 3p to 62p, but even that wasn't enough to stop it being five times oversubscribed, with theshares inevitably moving to a 34% opening day premium.  Market cap. at the current price is £39m. Goals, which is a fast growing operator of 5-a-side soccer centres in the UK, has clearly captured  investors imagination.  Not only does it boast an outstanding track record, with operating profit expected to increase more than seven-fold to over £2.2m in the three years ending 31 December 2004, but its ambitious expansion plans have every chance of delivering further strong growth in the years ahead.   & ...
