The shares jumped 35p after XN Checkout announced that it would beat pretax profit expectations for the year ending 31 December, albeit on slightly lower turnover. XN Checkout, which provides EPOS solutions to the leisure, retail and hospitality markets, should also see 2005 forecasts underpinned by  new business wins such as from Mitchells& Butlers and Punch Taverns, the latter after a successful pilot project.
