We briefly touched on serviced office provider MWB Business Exchange (MBE) last month. Since then we have caught up with chief executive John Spencer in a meeting which, if anything, has only enhanced our positive view on the company. We think MBE is a business very much in the right place at the right time with its core London office market showing a significant increase in customer activity in line with the strengthening economy. Meanwhile, with the planning system notoriously tight, there is not enough new office space coming on stream to soak up this extra demand, with the consequence being a sharp up-trend in its profitability.
