Shares in FTSE-250 firm Ferrexpo (FT Sector: Not listed), whichoperates an integrated iron ore mining and pelletising operation in theUkraine, have been on an upward trend ever since they joined the fulllist at 140p back in June in a float which raised US$202m for thecompany. This partly reflects the fact that Ferrexpo is unleashing amajor expansion program at a time when prices for iron ore, the key rawmaterial for making steel, are rocketing thanks to China’s soaringinfrastructure requirements. Those price increases along with risingproduction mark Ferrexpo out as a fantastic growth stock in the making.Back in 2004 it generated a post tax profit of US$81m but latestforecasts suggest this will increase to US$176m this year and US$239m ...
