Synergy produced strong interim results, with revenues (includingIsotron) rising 52% to £102m, while underlying revenue growth wasnearly 17%. Operating profit increased 115% to £15.3m, while eps rose27% to 15.5p, which was slightly ahead of forecasts. The forward orderbook has also increased by £65m to £765m. Synergy’s patient care division (linen management) enjoyed a 19%jump in revenues to nearly £62m, driven by a strong performance ininfection control and good progress with new products such as AirCleanse and its new MRSA screening service.
