Tarsus, which organises major business events, operates in one ofthe most lucrative sub-sectors of the media industry so it’s notsurprising that its shares haven’t been bashed as hard as some thesepast few weeks. The company boasts high margins and strong cashflow,while the icing on the cake is that customers book well in advance,which means Tarsus has the luxury of hitting its budget targets wellbefore the year-end has been reached. And the picture is brighter stillgiven that its management have made some well chosen acquisitions,helping to drive a towering financial performance. Back in 2004, Tarsuswas only making a pretax profit of £3m but three years on it is oncourse to reach £12m. Such momentum is showing no signs of stalling ...
