One company enjoying an extraordinary spike in demand is Penna Consulting, which provides career transition and other human resource services to the private and public sectors. With a market value of just £36m Penna is not exactly a big fish but it does have a 30% UK market share in career transition, or outplacing as it used to be known. After releasing forecast busting results on 11 November and with its market expected to see 20%+ growth per annum over the next 2-3 years as the weakening economy leads to wide ranging redundancy and restructuring programs, we expect the shares to build on their recent outperformance.
