Utilities re-seller Telecom Plus issued half year results in-line with expectations with revenues increasing 40% to £125m, while pretax profit fell from £9.8m to £5.8m, reflecting the lower energy prices. Eps fell to 6.3p (2008: 10.8p) while net cash was £28m. The period was characterised by strong growth in its key performance indicators with customer numbers increasing by around 36,000 to over 317,000 while the number of services provided increased by almost 250,000 to 908,937. Distributor numbers also rose by 5,000 to 31,852.
