It's no exaggeration to say that AIM-listed Gulfsands, which holds lucrative oil & gas interests in Syria, is on the verge of achieving very significant growth. The company, which has made two commercial oil discoveries in the past three years, has seen its share of production rocket from 5,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) at the start of 2009 to 10,500 bopd last June. But even despite the share price rise, the shares are still very attractive, given that the arrival of new infrastructure is expected to result in further production gains to 17,000 bopd by 2013, thereby heralding a major bump in earnings. Broker Oriel Securities is forecasting eps to increase from 15.7p in 2009 to 30.4p this year, 50.2p in 2011 and 58.2p in 20 ...
