Excellent half-year results from Photo-Me with pretax profit up almost 26% to £17.6m and eps rising 39% to 3.23p. Net cash rose £10.4m to £51.1m but this would have been higher but for a £3.7m increase in working capital (relating to delayed orders in its sales & servicing side), a £2.6m tax bill and last year's 1p dividend. In what is traditionally its stronger half the operations division (coin operated photo booths and kiddie rides) achieved a 19% jump in operating profit on  flattish sales of £115m. The big kicker was Continental Europe (mainly France) where profit enjoyed a blow-out 31% ...
