Strong underlying demand in the core Russian events market alongside a contribution from recent acquisitions led to strong full year results for business events operator ITE. Overall, despite a currency headwind, these showed sales, pretax profits and earnings up by 11%, 3% and 2% respectively to £172m, £53m and 16.9p. Total volume of space sold was just a shade under 800,000 sq metres across 251 events and excluding acquired events organic space and revenues grew by 2%-3%. Russia remains ITE's biggest market and within that, Moscow accounts for almost half of group sales.
