Shares in Workspace, which lets out flexible office space to SMEs in London, went through £7, buoyed by the capital’s robust economy and likelihood that interest rates will be kept lower for longer in 2015. Interims also beat forecasts with pretax profit rising 61% to £65.9m, helped by a 15% revaluation of its portfolio to £1,230m. Net asset value per share rose 20% to 597p (ahead of Investec’s forecast for 541p).Underlying pretax profit rose 28% to £12.4m, thanks to a 6.5% jump in rent roll to £42.4m.
