The shares touched a new high of 1070p after JD announced that it expects profit before tax and exceptional items for the current financial year to exceed current market expectations of £125m by £10m. Its update for the all important Christmas trading period will come out on 14 January.Broker Investec has increased 2016 eps forecasts by 5.5% to 52.7p with 57.6p expected in the year starting 1st February.
