Profit warnings from HSS, 57p and Speedy, 33.75p, have negatively affected the shares but its trading performance has remained strong. Its Q3 update stated its confidence of meeting expectations with profitability, margins and return on capital employed (ROCE) continuing to improve.The UK (47% revenue) saw revenues unchanged in Q3 and down 1% year to date but crucially the mix has been more favourable (towards larger, higher profit machines). Pricing has been stable while it has gained market share from Tier 1 and 2 customers.In the Middle East (22% sales) sales grew 3% against tough comparatives with pricing pressure in Saudi Arabia (50% of divisional sales) where lower oil prices ate into some government sponsored projects. ...
