This New Year NAP for 2017, which sells home assistance policies to cover plumbing, electrics, heating etc. has had a strong run, peaking at 864p. Last month’s strong interim results back this up and these showed underlying operating profit up 13% to £35.3m, in line with expectations. While UK profit fell from £21.2m to £9.1m, that reflected a shift in seasonality with profits second half weighted. The US was a standout performer, rising from a loss of £1.1m to profit of £11.4m, while France grew 17% to £9.4m and Spain 68% to £7.9m.
