The shares briefly hit an intra-day high of £20 fuelled by a pre-close first half update, which noted a 25% rise in global brand revenue, around one sixth from currency and the rest strong trading. In wholesale, turnover rose 34% to £159m helped by strength in new ranges, particularly in jackets and shoes, new customers and earlier delivery of stock (with potential for higher in-season sales in H2).In retail, sales rose almost 13% to £243m with like-for-like sales up 6.3% thanks to e-commerce, where sales rose 32%.
