The bidding war for Just Eat grinds on. It has received a revised 740p cash offer from Prosus, valuing the group at £5.1bn. This represents a 25% premium to the Closing Price of 589 pence per Just Eat Share on 21 October 2019 (the last business day before the offer announcement).Rival Takeaway.com claims Prosus’ bid significantly undervalues Just Eat and the value that the Just Eat Takeaway.com all share combination will deliver to shareholders.
