The shares spiked to new highs after UDG released finals slightly ahead of expectations with operating profit rising 9% to US$158.4m (consensus: US$155m) on a constant currency basis and eps increasing 7% to 48.4 cents. More impressive still, net debt was just US$80m (net debt / EBITDA: 0.4x) and well below forecasts for US$116m thanks to strong free cash generation and lower than expected capex.Ashfield, which promotes new drugs to physicians and provides healthcare communications, increased revenues by 3% to US$374m with profits rising 10% to US$108.4m.
