The shares fell again after Vistry said issues identified in October will impact profits more than expected but are broadly contained within its Southern division. The issues, which include insufficient management capability, non compliant forecasting, poor culture and pressure from organisational change, mean the expected profit before tax impact has increased from £115m to £165m, split £105m, £50m and £10m for FY’24,’25 and ‘26. The review has proposed changing personnel, improving standardised processes / controls and more reviews. The long-time COO is leaving so CEO Greg Fitzgerald can get closer to the coalface.
