Shares in infrastructure and accommodation services group, Jarvis, have inched to a twelve month high,  after announcing final results ahead of expectations, and triggering a round of broker upgrades. Pretax profit, which includes a pension credit of £7.2m, increased 31% to £71.1m on turnover up 22% to £1.1bn.  Diluted earnings were 33.4p.  The order book has risen to a towering £10bn.   Jarvis' largest infrastructure division, whichprovides road and rail services to customers including Network Rail(formerly Railtrack) and the Highways Agency, saw a 25% increase inoperating profit to £63m.  Almost all growth came from rail,thanks to record amounts of track renewal business, especially on theWest ...
