Regional newspaper giant, Johnston Press, is another to have benefited from fund managers increasing their weightings in the sector,with its shares now up 70p since our tip last December.  The catalyst for the latest spurt was a statement that trading was ahead ofthe Board's expectations, with like-for-like advertising sales up 2% for the first five months.  All classified advertising categories showed growth, the pick of which was property (up over 15%) which Johnston attributed to the slower property market.   DeutscheBank is upgrading its forecast to reflect higher than expected annualcost savings from the acquisition of Regional Independent Media of£10m, as well as an estimated 7% fall in newsprint costs. & ...
