Over the month we met with the management of White Young Green, (WYG), a multi-disciplined consulting engineer, with skills in areas such as structural engineering and environmental consultancy.  To some extent the company has operated in the shadow of larger and more highly rated rivals such as WSP and Mouchel Parkman, whom investors perceived as having the best growth opportunities.   However, a closer inspection reveals that WYG also has a good record given that its annual sales are expected to have grown more than fourfold to £90m,in the seven-year period ending 30 June 2004, through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.  The latter have added valuable new skills, helping chief executive, John Purvi ...
