At its AGM, Emerald Energy stated that it expects its second and third wells from Campo Rico to be adding some 2,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) to production by July following work-overs to reduce the water content. Also in July, it expects its discovery well at Vigia to start producing at 1,000 bopd while it is currently drilling a second well there which, if successful, should start producing in August. Elsewhere, Emerald plans to drill its first exploration wells in the Fortuna and El Algarrobo blocks later in the year.
