Last month's article on NETeller-lookalike Fireone, which provides payment processing solutions to the online gaming industry, looks extremely well-timed. The shares, which were introduced to AIM on 2 June at 241p a share, rose a mouth watering 50p on the opening day, before going on to hit a high of 309p. Fireone's broker, Numis, placed 10m existing shares with institutions, with the remaining 40m (80% of the share capital) being retained by its US-based and NASDAQ listed owner Optimal Group Inc. Market cap at the placing price was £120.5m.
