When two of the UK's biggest lending banks came within 30 minutes of going bust it might not have come as a surprise that shares in self-storage operator, Big Yellow, a business reliant on the health of the housing market, took a battering. Nevertheless, time is a great healer and 20 months on from that financial heart attack, consumer confidence and bank lending have picked up enough for Big Yellow to note a significant upturn in recent trading.
