Another month brings another Euro nightmare with fears of a run on Spanish banks triggering declines across the board (a 3.4% decline for the FTSE-100 and 5.9% for our Trader Portfolio).The portfolio's underperformance boiled down to setbacks at Hargreaves and Cape, previously two of our strongest performers. Hargreaves blamed its problems on highly unusual geological conditions at Maltby. This should be resolved within 16 weeks and even despite a downgrade, eps is forecast to reach c. 118p for year-end May 2013 and 169p in 2014.
