Shares in FTSE-250 rated Cineworld, Europe’s second largest cinema chain, have been on a tear as investors note the unusually strong line-up of blockbusters for 2015, which will boost attendances. But Cineworld is far more than just a one trick pony and the February ’14 acquisition of Cinema City, expanding its footprint into Israel and across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has provided mouth-watering opportunities to roll-out new outlets in countries where cinema penetration is less advanced.
