After the strong gains in the past two months it wasn’t surprising the TMI Trader Portfolio took a breather with a marginal gain of 0.2%: clearly, the hung parliament is hardly helping shares outside the internationally focused FTSE-100 either. The portfolio, nevertheless, could have hit another record but for the falls in our two oil shares, reflecting a drop in crude. On the positive side, Hostelworld gained strongly after we added it only last month while three others hit new highs. Plenty of positive news as well, with Crest Nicholson noting double-digit growth, SSP reporting a 40% rise in eps and B&M and Patisserie  posting impressive results.
