It seems hard to believe we originally highlighted these shares at just 1158p in February ’13 as they’ve just hit a new high of 3502p following  another set of “ahead of expectations” results. The company, which processes meats such as pork and chicken, increased revenues almost 18% to £1,464m, with like-for-like sales increasing a massive 12.7%! Pretax profit rose 22% to £92.4m while eps was up 20% to 145p. With pig prices falling in the second half and improved capacity utilisation, operating margins increased from 6.1% to 6.3%.
