An encouraging update from North Sea oil producer Enquest with group production averaging 69,973 barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd) in the four months ended April 2019. Full year guidance for 63-70,000 boepd remains unchanged.The Magnus assets, acquired from BP, continue to perform above expectations, reflecting high production efficiency, reservoir management and plant de-bottlenecking. The bigger positive surprise was the recovery at the flagship Kraken field, which after a blip in the first two months when it averaged just 23,000 boepd, achieved above 33,000 boepd in March and April with recently drilled wells on stream and performing better than expected. Full year guidance for Kraken remains unchanged at 30-35,000 boepd. ...
