Industrial conglomerate, Stobart, has recently been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons with a boardroom bust-up in which it sacked  former CEO, Mark Tinckler, last spring, culminating in the latter then attempting to oust its Chairman. The matter was eventually settled in Court, with Tinckler found to be in breach of fiduciary and contractual duties after sharing confidential information with fashion retail billionaire Philip Day, whom he had attempted to install as Stobart’s chairman.
