Full year results have been well telegraphed and were strong with pretax profit rising 12% to £181m and eps increasing 10% to 41.3p. Net debt was £509m against total facilities of c. £780m. Covid-19 has not stopped this business by any stretch. Homeserve provides emergency trades people for water leaks, electrical issues and pest control services. The highlight was North America, which grew profit 26% to £85.4m with customers up from 4m to 4.4m. It now works with over 950 utilities, which provide affiliate deals, giving Homeserve access to market to 64 million households, a huge potential market.
