The shares leapt after Photo-Me said trading has been ahead of expectations in the six months ended April with sales +24% year on year. All its markets aside from Asia are now back to pre-pandemic levels. In particular the photo booth (55% FY’21 EBITDA) estate (where the group continues to invest in biometric solutions) has seen significant revenue growth, most notably France and the UK following the easing of Covid-19 travel restrictions and subsequent recovery in international travel. The Laundry (34% FY’21 EBITDA) division also continues to perform strongly with 53 machines per month installed, representing 16% growth on the 4,094 in operation as at October 2021.
