Pawnbroker H&T, which has just gone ex a 10.5p final dividend, said while lending activity has been strong,  rates of redemptions, whilst seasonally high, have left the overall loan book unchanged at £101m (before the recent acquisition of Maxcroft, which added £4m). The non-pawnbroking operations have traded in line, with Retail encouragingly also seeing an anticipated improvement in margin back towards normal levels. A net two stores have opened with 8-12 targeted this year. With the prospective PE just 6.9 (forecast FY’24 eps: 57.2p) and Shore Capital nudging its fair value higher to 530p, I am a strong holder. ...
