The shares jumped 40p to a new high of 445p after Property Franchise Group announced the acquisition of The Guild of Property Professionals and Fine & Country (F&C) for £20m funded through a new debt facility with Barclays. The consideration implies a lowly 5.7x Dec ’23 EV / EBTDA multiple, which is immediately eps enhancing. F&C is a very well-known brand at the Premium end of the Sales market. It licences its brand to an estate agency network, with 193 UK locations and a further 65 internationally.
