A positive AGM noted good demand in Vistry’s Partner Funded market and improving trends in open market. Within Partner funded it has secured land and development opportunities totalling just over 6,000 mixed tenure new homes across 19 developments year to date. Encouragingly, within open market, sales rates have averaged 0.96 per outlet week versus 0.87 a year ago, while it’s benefiting from falling building material costs, albeit pricing is flat. As a result, Vistry has upgraded expectations for total completions this year by 500 to 18,000 (+ 12% versus last year) and is underpinned by its strong forward sales position, up 10% to £4.9bn.
