Project Telecom has announced that due to increasingly difficult trading conditions during the first quarter of 2003 it expects profit will only match last year's levels.   The group partly blamesintense price competition from rival mobile network operators, resulting in higher levels of churn, lower growth in the customer base and a reduction in average revenues per customer.  However, of more concern is the decision by network suppliers, such as Vodaphone, to cut Project Telecom's subsidies for new connections, in some cases by more than £50.  This bolt from the blue came in response to theCompetition Commission's decision to reduce termination charges by the mobile network operators.  Project Telecom anticipa ...
