Shares in I.T. distributor, Fayrewood, jumped to a new high of 143p at one point, after its AGM noted that trading in the first three months was ahead of expectations.  In particular, its niche distribution side is benefiting from the fact that its key suppliers, such as Acer (in notebooks) and IBM, which accounts for over 70% of itsUK subsidiary, Interface, have performed particularly well. Meanwhile,Fayrewood's 51% owned subsidiary, ComputerLinks, has announced its first quarter results, which showed a healthy 15% increase in net income to Eu.1.5m, from a 17% rise in turnover to Eu. 49.5m, with its e-Security division again leading the way with a 27% increase in turnover to Eu. 39m.   Broker, Arbu ...
