At its AGM on 5 May, Mayborn announced that the strong start to trading this year has continued,with the babycare products side benefiting from a mixture of organic growth and a good start from recent acquisition Tube Plastics. However, sales at its Household Products division continue to be flat, apart from its arts and crafts accessories business, Impex. After threatening to break through the 400p barrier, the shares have performed well to hold onto most of their gains while other smallcaps have suffered bigger sell-offs. Given Mayborn's strong recent record in beating forecasts and the potential to make more earnings enhancing acquisitions, it remains a core TMI holding. ...
