Over the month we met with TanzaniteOne’s new chief executive, Ian Harebottle. Our first impressions were good, with Harebottle coming across as a safe pair of hands. Although there’s little news to report since the results last month, Harebottle noted that the forthcoming Competent Person’s Report into TanzaniteOne’s recent upgrade to its reserves is due in June or July and could also include exploration results from other parts of its licence area. Later in the year, the company plans to widen its drilling program if current geomagnetic and geostatistical surveys prove positive.
